Dr Dukan has announced that his diet will be made available to the British public during 2010. That would mean the book will be available in English and some web content would probably come too.
Good news for the country with the highest percentage of overweight and obese people in Europe.
Happy New Year to all who read this blog - Please continue to follow as the diet continues - I appreciate your support.
After a very good festive season...
...good for diet or good fun with lots of Christmas spirit - don't ask... ;-)
...I'm back on the diet. Well sort of. It's cold and I think the body is needing internal warmth so some biscuits with tea are needed in the morning.
We've stopped the flow of spirit and the detox is over so we can get on with the normal routine now.
I haven't been anywhere near the scales since before Christmas - they were a source of despondency. I'm thinking seriously of not getting on the scales again. We can see by looking at our bodies if we loose weight or not and we know that if we follow the diet, don't cheat and do some exercise that we will loose over the long-term... so who actually needs scales?
A friend suggested just weighing myself once a week. I may do this - until I find the need to chase the weight and do it again every day.

We're back to PP on Monday! I have 5 kilos more than I did on December 24 so I'm not stressed about it!
ReplyDeleteJoelle is still not 100% sure she wants to go back to Dukan, thinking now that she has lost all that weight that she can stabilize on Montignac.
I need the scales, we have three in a row, one does %FAT %WATER. I need to know how I'm doing!
Nice to have you back, we've missed you!
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI've come across your blog and I really appreciate your help with undarstanding how the diet works. I've just bought "Je ne sais pas maigrir" in Polish, my native language and decided to give it a go. Please don't give up or I'll never find the courage to start any diet...
No way am I giving up the diet!
ReplyDeleteI know it works and I plan on reaching my goal weight sometime this year.
Windsurfing this summer and snowboarding next winter... :-)
So you can buy it in Polish and in Portuguese but not in English ;-) Good luck anonymous, the hardest is getting started and the first week! But do read the book carefully and understand exactly what you must do!
ReplyDeleteJ, the book will come out in English this year. Expect it out in early Spring.
